People really care about each other....
It's true! Many colleges say it, but at Muhlenberg you can feel it. There is a real sense of community here. Students care about each other. Faculty care about their students. The potential for human connections and for lifelong friendships that enrich a college experience is tremendous.
One student put it this way: "I think professors at Muhlenberg really respect their students. They respect our opinions and respect what we have to say in class. I can honestly say that many are much more like friends than 'professors'."
Another says, "A lot of faculty at Muhlenberg are willing to 'let you in' and allow you to learn different things about their lives. They also want to learn more about you. I think all of that promotes the learning process."
And how does this sense of community affect opportunities for fun and social life? Says one satisfied senior, "Muhlenberg is not the typical 'suitcase school', where everyone can't wait to go home after the Friday three-o'clock class. It's a place where you look forward to the weekends and look forward to being with your friends."
