Personal Interviews are highly recommended for anyone who is seriously interested in
Muhlenberg. They are required for transfer
applicants, those applying under our SAT-optional program, and
candidates for our cooperative programs, including the 4-4 Drexel Medical Program, the 3-3 Jefferson PT or OT Programs, and the 3-4 U Penn BioDental Program. An interview is conducted by an admissions counselor, and usually lasts 30 to 45
minutes. Juniors can interview beginning April 1 of the junior
year, and seniors can interview through February 15th of the senior
year.
Information Sessions are
group sessions conducted by an admissions counselor. You'll hear a general
overview about Muhlenberg and the admissions process, and have the
opportunity to ask questions. You'll also get to meet and interact with
other prospective students and their families. An info session is a great
way to take a "first look" at a college before you decide to
interview--they usually last about an hour.
Campus tours are led by
our friendly student tour guides. You'll visit major buildings on campus,
and get a look at a freshman dorm room. You will also be amazed by
how tour guides can talk and walk backwards at the same time (don't try this
at home!).
Day visits are a great way to get a taste of what life would be like as a Muhlenberg
student. Day
visits are available for seniors who'd like to attend a class and have lunch
with a student host. Day visits are scheduled at least two
weeks in advance and are subject to host availability.
