The Basics:
Every year there is a participation challenge, but no class has reached over 50% yet.
Class of 2006 = 38%
Class of 2007 = 45%
Class of 2008 = 39%
Class of 2009 = 27%
Class of 2010 = 29%
Class of 2011 = 41%
Class of 2012 = 41%
Class of 2013 = 53.8% (as of May 10, 2013)
So, Chairman of the Board Rich Brueckner '71, P'04, P'10 (a.k.a. "the Brueck") has issued a challenge:
If the Class of 2012 reaches 30% participation, Rich will contribute $3,000 to the class gift.
If the Class of 2012 reaches 40% participation, Rich will contribute $4,000 to the class gift.
If the Class of 2012 reaches 50% participation, Rich will contribute $5,000 to the class gift
If the class reaches 75% participation, Rich will contribute $10,000!
