Have you made Dean's List? Have you received athletic awards? Are you in an honor society? Did you receive a special promotion at your summer job or internship? Think about the awards and honors you have earned. You want to make sure that you can keep track of them and you can do this with the Awards/Honors log sheet. You are able to keep track of the award you earned as well as any information about the particular honor society or why you earned the award. When it comes time for you to create your resume or apply to graduate school you can use this sheet as a reference to help you complete an honors section. It is a good idea to keep the letter saying that you made Dean's List or another award. Perhaps your honor came with a certificate that you want to hold on to. These are all items that you should keep and record on your log sheet. Postgraduate HonorsAim for the top!Do you have a restless curiousity and a passion for learning? Do you have excellent academic credentials as well as a knowledge of and commitment to a world and issues beyond our campus? If so you may want to consider applying for post-graduate honors. Although graduation is still a few years away, the application process for these prestigous awards begins in the sophomore and junior years. Students who are nominated to pursue these honors will work closely with a faculty advisor to develop a compelling personal statement. A listing of the national and international scholarships and fellowships available through this program is included here. |
