Letters of Recommendation

Whether you are applying for post-graduate scholarships/fellowships, seeking employment, or applying to graduate/professional school, you will likely need letters of recommendation from faculty members and/or previous supervisors (refer to your specific applications for details on what is requested). We strongly encourage you to plan early for requesting these letters, and for maintaining and preparing information that will help your references write effective letters for you. It is a good idea to be thinking of potential references even as early as first or sophomore year. Get to know the faculty. Let them know your interests and intentions.
