LSD was first discovered in 1938.
It is made up of lysergic acid, and it is one
of the most potent psychedelic drugs there are.
The effects of the drug may vary from person to
person, but overall
shift in sensations is the most common reactions amongst users.
By 1951, both scientists and the government
were experimenting with
psychedelic drugs on
human volunteers. By 1963, there was a shift
in the drug's use, and people were taking it outside
of the laboratory, for personal use. It gave them
feelings they had never experienced before, and
expanded their minds.
