Sweet Success documents the rich tradition of the Ashers Candy Factory, an established candy manufacturer in Germantown, Pennsylvania. Having been in business for over one hundred years, the factory will be moving to a new location in Franconia, Pennsylvania. The film includes footage of the present factory in the Germantown section of Philadelphia as well as scenes of the new building in its final stages of construction. Interviews with management include Dave Asher, President of the Company. The feelings that the workers have about the Company and its pending move form the cornerstone of the film.
