Wednesday, November 9 @ 5:00 - 7:30p
Seegers Union, Rooms 108-109
Sponsored by the Star-Crossed Students of the IJCU/Muhlenberg College, this observance commemorates the first organized state violence against the Jewish community in Nazi Germany on November 9, 1938, known as Kristallnacht. Usually, consisting of a candlelight vigil and readings, together with the opportunity to recite Kaddish and other prayers, the event seeks to raise awareness of all forms of prejudice and bigotry in our society and on campus, thus drawing many campus groups into its orbit.
