'90 Madeline
(Walling) Becker and her husband Frank are pleased to announce the birth of
their daughter Denise on February 6, 2001. She joins big brother Karl, who
celebrated his third birthday on July 1, and cat Cupcake at the family's
Middletown, Del. home. A
part-time teacher with the children's play program Gymboree and full-time mom
and homemaker, Kathy (Elliott) Pfanzelt lives in Southington, Conn., with
her husband Carl and their two sons. Big brother Lucas Carl "Luke," is 2 and
William "Will" John celebrated his first birthday on February 21.
'91 Gwen Angert
works with mentally ill clients as a rehabilitation therapist with the
Metropolitan State Hospital in Norwalk, Calif. Deanne (Edelman) Fenstermacher and her
husband, Ivan, are pleased to announce the birth of their first child, Travis
John, on August 15, 2000. Deanne is a senior manager with Deloitte & Touche,
L.L.P. and the family lives in Coplay, Pa. Jo Ann (Gallo) Gittleman and her husband Matthew
Gittleman joyfully announce the birth of their daughter Emma Hope on February
11, 2001. Jo Ann reports that she has resigned from her position at CAN
Insurance and is presently enjoying being a stay-at-home mom. Jon Lieb announces his
December. 16, 2000 engagement to Sarah Lewy. Jon, a former Muhlenberg Weekly
sports editor, proposed in a letter he wrote to the sports editor of the New
York Post. After Sarah read the letter in the newspaper, he got down on one knee
and asked her in person. Jon has lived in Manhattan for the past seven years and
works for Hill & Knowlton Public Relations. Kevin "Earl" Mahn and his wife Debbie (Ceresi)
welcomed their second daughter, Brianna Erin, on May 8. She weighed 7 lbs. 12
oz. and measured 19 inches. She joins big sister Amanda, who turned 2 in
January. The family lives in Morris Plains, N.J.

Alison (Lehmann)
Mahoney and her husband Patrick helped their son Seth Andrew to celebrate
his first birthday on April 11, 2001. Allison works part-time as a social worker
in a long-term care facility in New Jersey. Deb (Coppola) Scaringi, Stephen Scaringi '92 and son
Nathan bought a home in Westborough, Mass. Deb has been named the director of
marketing for the law firm of Adler Pollock & Sheehan P.C. and is based out of
the firm's Boston office. Stephen is a senior engineer for Storage Networks in
Waltham, Mass. Catasauqua,
Pa. resident Carole (Schmickle) Silvoy brought her talents back to
campus, working with Muhlenberg's theatre department on a variety of projects. A
performer and interpreter, Carole combines voice-over, singing, and acting with
professional ASL interpreting for the deaf. Susan Toso is working in Collegeville, Pa., as a senior
analyst in research and development competitive intelligence with
GlaxoSmithKline.
Richard Zuckerman and his bride Brenda were married on February 18, 2001
at the Shelter Rock Jewish Center in Roslyn, N.Y., surrounded by Muhlenberg
friends. Guests included: Richard Coster, Elias Economopoulos, Dina Levinson,
David Nelkin, Ray Bhatia '90, David Fisher '90, Erik Qualben '89, Stewart Polsky
'90 and Felix Svider '93. Richard is an attorney in Manhattan at the
law firm of Fischbein, Badillo, Wagner and Harding and Brenda is a school
teacher.
