'98 Jamie
N. Anderson is pursuing a master's degree in geography and
planning at West Chester University. Jamie recently became engaged
to Joe Smith Jr. of Springfield, Pa. A July 27 wedding is planned
in Egner Memorial Chapel. Jamie lives in Ridley Park, Pa.
Joshua Borger has received the Drinan Family Fund
Award from Boston College Law School. Joshua will use the award to
pursue his commitment to the field of environmental justice, which
he describes as "an amalgamation of civil rights and environmental
law." He has researched and drafted legal memoranda for the Natural
Resources Defense Council and has analyzed refugee/asylum law for
Shelter Legal Services. Among his many other activities, he was also
awarded a leadership fellowship to strengthen Israel/ Diaspora ties
and has researched, edited and drafted sections of law review articles
on international human rights law in Jerusalem.
Brian Fishbone now serves as training specialist
with Delaware Investments in Center City Philadelphia. In this position,
he facilitates training classes for Delaware's employees and develops
new curriculum on topics such as effective business writing. In addition,
he is enjoying his role as regional chair of the Philadelphia Alumni
Club. He would like to thank the numerous alumni who have volunteered
their time and invites any other Philadelphia-area alums interested
in volunteering to contact him.
On Dec. 28, 2001, Amy Moeller married Robert J. Nightingale,
a graduate of Western Maryland College, a fellow Centennial Conference
school. The wedding took place at Saint Paul Roman Catholic Church
in Ramsey, N.J, where Amy teaches second grade. The reception followed
at The Highlawn Pavilion in West Orange, N.J. Many 'Berg alums helped
to celebrate the big day: Keith Esposito '89, Cindy (Gutierrez)
Fasolino, Robert Knight '63, Lynn (Garofolo) Nardino '89, Michael
Nardino '89, Danielle Russo, Jaime Savino, Georgette Weaver, MaryJane
(Silfies) Whyte and Tim Whyte '96. The couple
honeymooned in Hawaii. They reside in Edgewater, N.J.
Melissa Osorio is the assistant to the director of
human resources for BBDO New York, an advertising agency in midtown
Manhattan. She moved to Hoboken, N.J., on March 1. She still lives
with Andrea Colettis, who continues teaching high
school Spanish in Glen Rock, N.J., and was tenured last year.
Joyce Thompson is now on the computer science faculty
at Lehigh Carbon Community College.
