Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, N.J. He is survived by his
wife Ruth. Walter K. Smith passed away on Nov.
8, 2002. He is survived by his wife Marion. John B.
Sweeney died in St. Lukes Hospital, Fountain Hill, Pa.,
on Dec. 22, 2002. He was married to Dolores for 43 years. |

Springs, Fla., on Dec. 19, 2002. He is survived by his wife Joyce.
They were married 55 years. |

Donn G. Dutcher died on Nov. 15, 2002. He is
survived by his wife of 42 years, Christie. Before retiring in 1989,
Donn was director of communications for Western Union Co., Upper
Saddle River, N.J., where he worked for 25 years.
Melvin D. Jones passed away Sept. 22, 2002.
Dr. Theodore Offner passed away on Nov. 5, 2002. He is
survived by is wife of 48 years and three sons. Dr.
Fred W. Weiler Jr. died at home on Jan. 4, 2003. He was
the husband of the late Jeanne Kaytone Weiler. |

passed away. |

on Jan. 7, 2003. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Sue Posch

Alan H. Arsht died at the North Ridge Medical
Center in Oakland Park, Fla., on Jan. 28, 2003. |

Thomas G. Nader Jr. died in Lehigh Valley Hospital
on Dec. 27, 2002. He was married to Penelope for 48 years. He owned
Nader Brothers Exxon Service Station in Allentown, Pa., prior to
his retirement. He also owned H&M Concessions for seven years. |

Joseph A. Duvo died in the Inpatient Hospice
Unit of Lehigh Valley Hospital on Jan. 14, 2003. Joseph is survived
by his mother and sister.

Elizabeth Whitner Newman died in her home on
Feb. 1, 2003. She was married to Philip Newman. |

Joseph Dattoli, who ran the foreign
language learning center at Muhlenberg for many years, passed away
in May 2002. A recent ‘Berg alum who worked with Joe in the
language center said, “Joe was a wonderful man who greeted
every student who entered the language lab with a smile. He was
a friend to many who walked through those doors.”
