conducting combat missions with C Battery, 1st Battalion, 7th Field
Artillery, 2nd Brigade, 1st Infantry Division in Bayji, Iraq, I recently
returned to the U.S. to attend warrant officer candidate school at
Ft. Rucker, Ala. I graduated Oct. 5. I am now currently attending warrant
officer flight training at Ft. Rucker, Ala. to become a helicopter
pilot. My wife, Amy, is still deployed in Iraq with 1st Infantry Division
in support of OIF2.” James
H. McMackin, III Esq. has left the firm of Richards, Layton & Finger,
PA, where he was a corporate litigation practitioner. Jim has joined
the firm of Morris, James, Hitchens & Williams, LLP, where he practices
in the field of structured finance and alternative business entities.
He resides in Wilmington, Del. Heather
Suffin is engaged to be married in May 2005. Heather and her
fiancé Marty
Delaney are both attorneys and, once married, will live in Wyckoff,
N.J. Heather’s matron of honor, Demetra
Maurice, is married to Muhlenberg alum Joseph Maurice ’91. Heather
works at the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office and is assigned
to the trial section.
| ’97 | On January 29, 2005,
Jennifer Bradley married Captain Michael P. Stewart
at the Church of Christ Uniting in Kingston, Pa. The bride received
an M.B.A. in operations management and international business from
the University of Scranton in May 2003. She also received a Fulbright
Scholarship to the Republic of Korea for the 2003-2004 academic year.
The groom, a graduate from The Citadel, The Military College of South
Carolina, is currently assigned to the 101st Airborne Division in Ft.
Campbell, Ky. Nicole
Carp currently resides in Hoboken, N.J., and works in New
York City at Cohn & Wolfe, a public relations agency,
where she is a media specialist and celebrity publicist for several
healthcare campaigns. Nicole is also a cabaret singer and performed
in her fifth sold-out cabaret show in February at the renowned Danny’s
Skylight Room in New York City’s theater district. Melanie
Lapointe joined the modern language department as a Spanish
teacher at Xaverian Brothers High School, a Catholic boys school in
the suburbs of Boston. Prior to Xaverian, she worked for Boston University’s
admissions department as an assistant director of undergraduate admissions.
Mark
and Stacey (Alber) Mondello were married on May 16,
2004. The wedding party included Jill Boren ’82 and Sharon
(Weiss) Dornemann ’97.
Other alumni in attendance were: Bang ’99 and Jessica
(Furrer) Chau ’99, Henry Dornemann ’97 and Susan
(Borek) Kuhn ’97.
The couple resides in Oradell, N.J. Todd
Rothman earned a master’s
degree in psychology in education from Columbia University Teachers
College this past spring. After working as a staff associate in the
Office of the President at Teachers College for over three years, he
recently assumed the assistant director of admissions position at Columbia
Law School earlier this fall. Lynne
Weiner and Brad Wilkins were married July 13, 2003 in Philadelphia,
Pa. Alumni in attendance were: Nicole Carp, Sage (Rega) Coady,
Jennifer Zwirn ’99, Stephanie
(Kelly) Imhof ’98,
Adam ’97 and Alexis (Tenedine) Kasowitz ’96,
and Allison
(Cornish) Perrucci. The couple is enjoying their new home
in Hatboro, Pa.
Dennis
Williams is the new vice-principal at Hatboro-Horsham High
School in Montgomery County, Pa. He is the ninth and 10th grade principal
of over one thousand students and oversees curriculum and discipline
efforts. He and his wife Keisha recently celebrated their third wedding
anniversary and the first birthday of their daughter, Maya Denise.
