Artists and papermakers Doug and Helene Zucco founded White Crow Press in the 1970's. They pioneered the craft of papermaking and the use of pigment introduced directly into the paper pulp. The Zuccos held a week-long papermaking workshop in the Muhlenberg Art Department studios in March 2000. Students made paper using both the western and eastern techniques. Pigmented paper pulp was intrduced to paint directly into the paper. High-shrinkage pulp was experimented with to form three dimensional objects.
