Weisenberg Elementary School

A strong bond exists between the staff of the Weisenberg Elementary School of the Northwestern Lehigh School District and Muhlenberg College.  Former principal Gail Farnham serves on the faculty at Muhlenberg as a student teacher supervisor. The primary grade teams have developed several unique units in mathematics and science. The fourth grade team frequently focuses on environmental topics and has created “Focus on the Earth”, “Earth Day” and “Solar System” units. Students have created their own environmental tee-shirts and planted several trees. Their 2007-08 focus was on “Healthy Living”.
