Dr. John
Pearce was a member of the 'Berg faculty from 1970 to 2003.
He taught pre-Revolution French literature,
Business French and Business Spanish, along with language courses
for
the all-college language requirement. He was director of the
Mellon Grant Project: developing multimedia, interactive software
for language learning.
Dr. Pearce was editor of the PA State Modern
Language Assn. Newsletter from 1990-2003. He was also
editor of the departmental newsletter. Dr. Pearce is active
in the
community with his
church,
Meals on Wheels, and NAMI (National Alliance for the Mentally
Ill). |
