The traditional folk altar for the Day of the Dead (All Souls' Day) was prepared in the Chapel and setup for visits, offerings of photos, flowers, and foods in memory of a lost loved one.

On Sunday, November 2, 2008 at 1:00 pm a bilingual / bicultural Sunday service was held in Egner Chapel. Many left the names of people who have passed on for remembrance at this service-- the visitor's book at the entrance of the Chapel had space for this special list.

Thank you to the wonderful Spanish majors, minors, and faculty who worked hard to create the offerings on the altar and to build the altar!
