A meeting of the Russian Club

The Russian Studies Program welcomes Dr. Mohsin Hashim, who has helped to expand its offerings with the addition of two political science courses devoted to the Russian scene. Other changes introduced by the department include the newly revised 19th and 20th Century Russian Literature in Translation courses, taught by Dr. Kipa and Dr. Iskold respectively. Dr. Iskold is also offering a new course entitled Russian Culture and Civilization. Dr. Croskey continues to teach several Russian history classes, including Imperial Russia and Soviet Russia, while Dr. Tighe, also from the History Department, offered Orthodox Christianity. All of these classes have given students a broader perspective on Russia and its cultural heritage.
