| Andrew
Schmidt graduated from Muhlenberg in 2001 with a major in Communication
Studies and a minor in English. He also studied Spanish and Russian.
Andrew recently received an MA in International Affairs from The George
Washington University and now works for the U.S. General Services
Administration in Washington, D.C.
Awards/Honors:
He is
a member of Phi Beta Kappa and graduated with Honors in Communication
Andrew
received the Dr. Robert E. Shoemaker Graduate Fellowship and the
Susan E. Hallamay Journalism Award from Muhlenberg in 2001.
He attended
Middlebury Language School in the summers of 2001, 2002 and 2003.
All
three summers were for Spanish.
Andrew
interned with the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Western Hemisphere
Affairs in Winter/Spring 2004.
