Soloist, recording
artist, and choral singer with numerous ensembles. A native of Newark,
DE, he has performed in thirteen countries in such venues as Carnegie
Hall, The Academy of Music, Radio City Music Hall, St. Stephen's Cathedral
(Vienna), The National Cathedral (Washington, DC), The Trenton War Memorial,
and The Grand Opera House (Wilmington, DE). Ed has performed over forty
lead roles with various opera companies, orchestras, and ensembles.
He also heads a performance ensemble specializing in Renaissance feasts.

Soloists in Philadelphia, the Pennsylvania Sinfonia Orchestra and the
Reading Symphony. Instructor of oboe at Moravian College.
DEBORAH DAVIS CELLO
Formerly a member
of the Houston Symphony Orchestra and before that taught on the music
faculty at the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana. As a
graduate student at Indiana University School of Music, she was awarded
a Performer's Certificate, the school's highest honor for excellence
as a performer. She is Principal Cellist with the Pennsylvania Sinfonia
Orchestra and teaches privately.

Tyrone Breuninger. Performs with Mainstreet Brass Quintet, Valley Brass

Leading roles with the Israeli National Opera, the New Israeli Opera, the Israeli Philharmonic Orchestra, and Opera Camerata of Washington. Represented Israeli Broadcasting Authority at Cardiff World Competition in Wales. Specializes in contemporary music of her native Israel. Recorded Vocal Jewels from Israel for Centaur Records in 1998.
HEIDI HAYES VOICE
After debuting with
the San Antonio Festival, Heidi Hayes has gone on to appear in opera
and musical theater productions with companies such as Tulsa Opera,
Central City Opera, Opera Delaware, Hollybush Festival, Boheme Opera
of NJ and Ocean City (NJ) Pops. As a concert soloist and recitalist,
she has performed with Amerita Chamber Players, Main Line Symphony,
Philadelphia Singers, Lehigh Valley Chamber Orchestra and other organizations
throughout the East Coast. A Muhlenberg faculty member since 1995, Ms.
Hayes also maintains a private studio in Bryn Mawr, PA.

Kidwell, perfoarms in numerous operatic, concert, and recital engagements.
Roles include Carmen, Isabella in "L'Italiana in Algeri",
Maddalena in ""Rigoletto", Olga in ""Eugene
Onegin;" concert appearances with The National Symphony in Costa
Rica and the Sinfonica de Columbia in Bogata, in DaFalla's "El
Amor Brujo" and "Siete Canciones", solo appearances with
the Philadelphia Orchestra, Concerto Soloists and the Philly Pops with
Peter Nero. Was directed by Gian Carlo Menotti in his "The Saint
of Bleecker Street". Recently appeared as Zulma in "L'Italiana
in Algeri" in a live PBS broadcast from the Academy of Music. B.M.,

from the Academy of Vocal Arts (AVA) in Philadelphia. Ms. Kidwell is

Farlow, and Kenny Burrell. Assistant seminar and clinic instructor for
Howard Roberts, founder of Guitar Institute of Technology in Hollywood
(CA). First place winner in Kenny Burrell National Guitar Competition
in 1978. Performed with Phil Woods, Tim Hagens, John Swanna and Bill
Goodwin.
DR. BARBARA LIEBHABER MUSIC THEORY
Barbara Liebhaber, Ed.D., M.A., Teachers College, Columbia University, B.A. Brandeis University, is an accomplished musician, pianist and educator. Currently she teaches music theory at Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA. and serves as the Educational Consultant for the chamber ensemble, Satori. As educational consultant she designs and presents educational music programs for all ages. Barbara also is a pianist with the ensemble and has performed with Satori at the Deerhead Inn, Godfrey Daniels, Moravian College the DaVinci Center, and other Lehigh Valley venues. An accomplished pianist, she has presented concerts in the United States and Europe. Barbara has worked in music theatre and recently served as music director and accompanist in the Moravian Theatre Company’s production of The Fantasticks. Her involvement in music education includes many years in public schools, private music schools and at the college level. Most recently she has been an Assistant Professor of Music at Moravian College where she directed the Music Education program for twelve years. She has published articles in the MENC journal, Teaching Music, and has presented at professional conferences for both the College Music Society and Music Educators National Association. Barbara continues to be committed to music education and provides mentoring for music teachers and professors to develop programs, design curriculum and provide assistance and support. This includes workshops for music teachers with their students and in-service programs for music teachers in a variety of school districts. |

M.M., University of the Arts. Recipient of the Ezerman Piano Award for
excellence in performance, President's award for academic and artistic
achievement from the University of the Arts. Piano faculty of the Baldwin
School, Bryn Mawr. She has served as accompanist for the Singing City
Choir, Philadelphia, "Voces Novae et Antique", Choral Arts
Society of Philadelphia, and the Delaware Symphony. Her teachers have
included Susan Starr and Vladimir Sokoloff.

BEVERLY MORGAN VOICE
B.S. Mus. Ed., Moravian College, Master's in Vocal Performance, Temple University. A student of Raquel Adonalyo of the Curtis Institute, Beverly has sung principal roles with the Berks Grand Opera Company and the Philadelphia Singers and solo recitals which have aired on NPR. She has been the musical director of several works including Touchstone Theatre’s “ Bethlehem Steel, The Art of an Industry.” She is the founding director of the steel choir of bethlehem and ACCO, A Chorus Celebrating Women. Beverly has taught music in public and private schools and at Moravian College.

Graduate of the Paris Conservatory. Winner of the Interpretation Prize
at the International Franz Liszt Competition in Budapest. Further study
with Gyrogy Sebok at Indiana University. On the faculty at the Curtis
Institute of Music.
GARY RISSMILLER DRUMS
Jazz drummer Gary
Rissmiller, a native of Bethlehem PA, has been playing drums for over
25 years. He has studied with Joe Morello and has performed with such
jazz greats such as Phil Woods, Eric Kloss, Tom Harrell, Randy Brecker,
Don Paterson, Tim Hagins, Brian Lynch, Dave Liebman, Vic Juris, Bob
Dorough, Urbie Green, Chris Potter, George Young and Gary King. He has
also opened for Lionel Hampton, Cab Calloway, Joe Henderson, and Spyro
Gyra. His first record with June Thomas is titled, "In Time," which features unique versions of timeless standards.

Conservatory of Music. Study with Loren Kitt, Leon Russianoff, Howard

Symphony Orchestra, Pocono Pops Orchestra, Lehigh Valley Chamber Orchestra,
Pennsylvania Sinfonia Orchestra, Allentown Symphony, Annapolis Symphony,
solo and chamber music recitalist. Director, Muhlenberg College Woodwind
Ensemble. Music Director and Conductor, Pocono Youth Orchestra.
DAVE SMITH GUITAR
Attended Kutztown University. Performer with U.S. Navy Band, Jazz Band, and Orchestra. Studied with Watts Clarke, Walt Damroshe, and Joseph Schillinger. Performed extensively throughout Europe, playing for royalty and celebrities. Played with Allentown Symphony under Donald Voorhees. Has taught privately for over 35 years and has owned West End Music for over 24 years, where he enjoys being a luthier and broker of fine instruments.
ROBERT WALLACE VOICE
Baritone Robert Wallace
received his vocal training at Peabody Conservatory and Philadelphia's
Academy of Vocal Arts. He has appeared with the Baltimore Opera Co.,
The Opera Company of Philadelphia, The Trenton Civic Opera and the Harrisburg
Civic Opera. He is a past winner of the American Opera Auditions, a
finalist in the Luciano Pavarotti International Competition and The
Center for Contemporary Opera Competition.
CHRISTA WARDA SOPRANO
B.M., Peabody Conservatory of Music. A lyric coloratura, Christa has performed with opera companies and symphony orchestras in Germany, Italy, and the United States. Opera roles include Violetta Valery in La Traviata , Mabel in The Pirates of Penzance , Adele in Die Fledermaus , Pamina in The Magic Flute , and Despina in Cosi fan Tutte . A 1985 winner of the Jay Speck Foundation Competition in Philadelphia, she has studied at the Juilliard School and the American Institute in Graz, Austria, and has taught voice in Germany. Her teachers include Shirlee Emmons and Wayne Conner, and she has participated in master classes with Bidu Sayao, Eileen Farrell, Eleanor Steber, and Licia Albanese.
DONALD WENNER FRENCH HORN
Formerly solo horn, U.S. Military Academy Band, West Point, N.Y. Horn study with Robert Kehm and Mason Jones. Performs with the Allentown Symphony Orchestra, Lehigh Valley Chamber Orchestra, Pennsylvania Sinfonia Orchestra, and the Valley Brass.
STEPHEN WILLIAMS ORGAN
Stephen C Williams
is Director of Music and Organist at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran
Church in Allentown. With formal training at Brevard College, Westminster
Choir College, and The Juilliard School, he is Director of Chapel Music,
College Organist, and Visiting Lecturer in Music at Muhlenberg. He has
performed organ recitals throughout the U.S., in Canada, Great Britain,
and France. Stephen has been featured guest artist and lecturer at Musikfest
of Bethlehem, Music in the Old Moravian Chapel in Bethlehem, The Bach
Marathon, Music from St. Stephen's, Wilkes-Barre, and Lenten Recitals
at First Presbyterian, Allentown. He gas accompanied the Westminster
Choir and Schola Cantorum of Westminster Choir College, Lehigh University
Choir and Choral Union, Gloria Dei Chorale, Cathedral Choral Society,
and Muhlenberg Musical Theatre Department. Recently served three terms
as Dean of the Lehigh Valley Chapter of the American Guild of Organists.
PAUL WINDT VIOLIN
Paul Windt is a native
of Pittsburgh, where he was a student of Mihail Stolarevsky. He received
a Bachelor of Music Degree from the Curtis Institute of Music where
he studied with Jascha Brodsky and Efrem Zimbalist. He has been a faculty
member at Cedar Crest College, Lehigh University, the New School of
Music, and Temple University Music Prep. His students have been finalists
and winners of several important local, state, and national competitions.
Mr. Windt has performed extensively as a member of the Philadelphia
Piano Trio, as a soloist with numerous orchestras including the Sixteen
Concerto Soloists of Philadelphia, the American Festival Orchestra in
Italy, and the Pittsburgh Symphony. He has appeared frequently as a
recitalist in the United States, Canada, and Italy. Paul Windt recently
released a CD entitled "Violin Alone" which features virtuoso
masterpieces by Bach, Milstein, and Ysaÿe. |
