School of Medicine, St. Luke's Hospital and Health
Network and Muhlenberg College are partners in an
integrated undergraduate/affiliated hospital/medical
school program for Early Assurance Applicants.
Students will apply to Temple (TUSM) in the spring of
their Junior year. They must have a 3.5 or greater
GPA with no grade less than "C". The minimum
acceptable MCAT score shall be 30 with no score less
than 9 in any of the individual sections. The MCAT
must be taken no later than May 27, 2008. Temple
shall admit up to a total of four qualified students
each year. Prerequisite biology, chemistry and
physics courses must be completed by the time of
application.
Students accepted to
the early Assurance Program who are in their third and
fourth year of medical school, will take all of
their clinical clerkships at the St. Luke's Hospital
Clinical Campus in Bethlehem, PA. Students
admitted through the EAP will apply to TUSM using the
Early Assurance Option of the AMCAS by August 1st prior
to their final year at Muhlenberg.
