School of Dental Medicine Combined Program
3-4 MUHLENBERG/UNIVERSITY OF PENNSYLVANIA SCHOOL OF DENTAL MEDICINE AFFILIATION AGREEMENTMC and the UPSDM have entered into an agreement allowing up to five students to accelerate their admission to the School of Dental Medicine. Students admitted to this program spend three years at Muhlenberg and four years at the School of Dental Medicine, graduating with a B.S. degree in Biology from Muhlenberg (after completing year one of dental school) and a D.D.S. degree from the University of Pennsylvania. High school students must rank in the upper tenth of their class and attain a minimum SAT score of 1200 to be considered for acceptance into this Program. As with the MC/DUCOM/LVH Agreement, the 3-4 Program is coordinated through Muhlenberg's Office of Admission. Students are only admitted to this program at the time of their admission to Muhlenberg. Upon leaving Muhlenberg after three years, students must have an overall CUM and SCI GPA of 3.5 or greater. It is required that all candidates for the 3-4 Program interview at Muhlenberg by January 1 of their senior year. Students interested in being considered for this program should so indicate on their application for admission to Muhlenberg via a letter of interest.
Due to the timing of the selection process, students wishing to apply for this program should complete their application to Muhlenberg by January 1.
