Note:  Students entering with the Class of 2007 or before should follow the major requirements indicated below. If you entered with the Class of 2008 or later, you should follow the 'new' major requirements.

 

In total, psychology majors take at least 9 psychology courses. Many students take more than 10 by the time they graduate.

All students take: 

PSY101, PSY103, 1 Fundamental Process course, 1 Social & Personality processes course, 1 Advanced Lab course, 4 electives (any course except PSY270 counts).

Only 1 credit of PSY 970 and 1 credit of PSY960 can count toward the major
