Title: Perceptions of ADHD
Thank you for considering participation in our study. The purpose of this study is to examine people’s perceptions of Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and some of the options available for treatment. For this study you will be asked to answer a series of questions about ADHD and provide your opinions about specific treatment options. The entire survey should take approximately 15 minutes to complete. Your participation in this study is voluntary; you may terminate your participation in the study at any time without penalty.
This survey is being conducted online. Therefore, absolute anonymity cannot be guaranteed due to limited information security associated with internet usage. However, no identifying information will be requested or tracked (i.e., internet protocol addresses), therefore your anonymity will be protected to the greatest extent possible. To maximize confidentiality, submitted data will be downloaded and stored on the primary investigator's password-protected computer.
This project has been approved by the Institutional Review Board at Muhlenberg College. Approval of this project means that the procedures used in this study have been designed to adequately protect the rights and welfare of the participants.
