and Dance programs at Muhlenberg College are uniquely a cultural resource for the college,
an entertainment center for the campus, and a community
arts center that is recognized by Lehigh
Valley audiences. The Baker Center for the Arts and the companion Trexler Pavilion for Theatre & Dance offer intimate, professional venues for the performing and visual arts that serve audiences of tens of thousands of people from the surrounding communities.

Our students are challenged as artists in the studio
and classroom, working closely with faculty and nationally
recognized guest artists to achieve both a conceptual
understanding and practical working knowledge of the
arts and the professions. We encourage each student
to individualize his or her education to fulfill personal
creative and intellectual goals.
 Muhlenberg Summer Music Theatre produces two full-scale main stagemusicals with professional guest artists and a musical for children each season. Open auditions are held in February of each year, and Muhlenberg theatre and dance students are encouraged to participate in this regional theatre company as part of their educational experience. Housing is provided.
