THE BOX OFFICE

The Box Office is located on the lowest level of the Trexler Pavilion for Theatre & Dance. The Trexler Pavilion is accessed from Chew Street through the main lobby entrance on the west side of the complex, or by walking across the connecting glass bridge from the lobby of the Baker Center for the Arts.

Tickets may be purchased by phone, online, or in person at the box office. Tickets are required to be paid at the time of purchase. Both main stage shows this summer will be performed in the Dorothy Hess Baker Theatre. The musical for children is performed in the Studio Theatre.

Box Office Hours are May 27th, Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. for the 2009 summer season in the Trexler Pavilion will begin. The box office is also open two hours prior to each of the main stage performances, and one hour before each of the children's shows. The SMT box office will have limited hours through April and May, according to the academic year calendar and the availablility of student workers.

Subscription Forms for the 2009 season are available online, but subscribers must submit their ticket orders through the U.S. Mail as instructed with the online forms.

Single event tickets to all shows for the summer season are available now. You may reserve and purchase tickets by phone with your American Express, Mastercard, or Visa charge card online at any time, or by phone during regular box office hours in the Trexler Pavilion for Theatre & Dance. You will receive an email confirmation from our box office confirming your purchase. Please note there is an additional activity fee for purchasing your tickets online.

EARLY SUBSCRIBER FORMS are available online. This is your opportunity to be among the first to reserve your tickets for a fabulous summer of musical entertainment without an expensive trip to New York or Philadelphia. We are thrilled to continue bringing you the music, the spectacle and the joy of the great Broadway and Off-Broadway stage for affordable ticket prices at home in the Lehigh Valley!

Subscribers to the two main stage musicals save as much as 25% over single ticket prices, are guaranteed the best available seats in our theatres, and reserve the opportunity to purchase additional single tickets with your subscription order.

Brochure and Early Subscriber Forms are designed to be returned by U.S. Mail. Please return your full page ticket order form with your payment. You may email boxoffice@muhlenberg.edu if you have questions.

Each subscription includes one ticket to each mainstage show. Additional single tickets to either show and/or tickets to our children's musical may also be included WITH your subscription order. Subscription orders will be processed in the order in which they are received, so mail your completed ticket form early to guarantee the best seats!

GIFT CERTIFICATES

Muhlenberg Summer Music Theatre Gift Certificates give your family, friends and colleagues all the flexibility they need to take advantage of your generosity! Each gift certificate allows the recipient to choose the date they will attend our summer musicals, and you can choose among a variety of season and single event certificates as your gift. Consider giving the excitement of an evening of musical theatre as a gift for birthdays, anniversaries, parties and holidays throughout the year.

Gift Certificates for tickets to the Muhlenberg Summer Music Theatre may be purchased for any show of the current season or for any number of subscriptions that will include tickets to the two main stage shows. Each main stage musical runs for three weeks, playing Wednesday through Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Dorothy Hess Baker or Paul C. Empie Theatre. The children's musical runs for five weeks, playing Wednesday through Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Studio Theatre in the Trexler Pavilion for Theatre & Dance.

Gift Certificates may be redeemed by emailing boxoffice@muhlenberg.edu or calling 484.664.3333 to request seats for one of the available performance dates of the show or shows indicated. Please mention your gift certificate as well as the date and number of tickets you are reserving.

Call 484.664.3333 to order. Gift certificates can be picked up at the Trexler Pavilion for Theatre & Dance during regular office hours by appointment. Certificates may be purchased in any combination and will be mailed to you by regular postal mail.

GROUP SALES

Season 2009: The Sound of Music or Forever Plaid

Attending our main stage productions as a group will save you more than 30% on your tickets! Tickets for groups of 15 or more people toin 2009 are $25 each for adults and seniors; $15 each for Youth or Children.

MAKE YOUR OWN DINNER THEATRE EVENT! Bring a group of 24+ friends, colleagues or family to attend a
weekday show, and we can arrange an elegant buffet dinner for you on campus! Park only once - walk to the theatre - and enjoy an affordable evening of entertainment! Call for details!

Tickets for Judith Viorst's stage musical are $8 for groups of 15 or more (any age). Activities related to the show are available in advance by request, and children attending will receive a special autograph program card to be signed by the cast members following the show. Groups may also request a bag lunch to be served on campus for an additional fee.
