Events that you elect to hold at another location on campus will carry an additional service charge. To help you plan your budget, plan on these additional charges for service outside of Seeger’s Union.

  • Continental Breakfast $.50
  • Hot Breakfast, either as a buffet or as a served breakfast $1.00
  • Lunch, either as a buffet or as a served lunch $2.00
  • Dinner, either as a buffet or as a served dinner $3.00

Weddings, outside groups, and conference groups are priced on an individual basis.

Facility Reservations and Arrangements
Facility Reservations may be requested through the Office of the Student Union and Campus Events. Facility Reservation Request Forms (FRRF’s) are available at the Information Desk and may be completed and submitted at least 14 days in advance. The FRRF will ensure that the proper set-up of the furniture and other support equipment is arranged to meet your needs. The office is open Monday - Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm and a representative may be contacted by phone at (484) 664-3494.

The Catering Manager should be contacted as far in advance as possible to assist you in planning your event. Simply make an appointment with our Catering Office located in the Seegers Union Garden Room. (484) 664-3488.

Guest Count and Guarantee Policy
Since most of the financial planning for a special affair is based on the price per guest, it is important to both you and the dining service that the expected count is as accurate as possible. The Catering Manager will plan and purchase for all the guests you indicate will attend. For this reason, you will be billed for your total guaranteed guest count whether or not all of your guests attend. Our guarantee policy works as follows:

  1. Seven working days before the affair, menu and approximate count must be completed
  2. Three working days before the affair, we must have the guaranteed count. You will be billed for this number of guests (unless the actual count exceeds the guaranteed count)
  3. Events will be billed for 50% of guaranteed count if event is canceled with less than twenty-four hours notice
  4. All deliveries outside of Seegers Union (under $50.00) will carry a $10.00 delivery charge.

Flowers and Centerpieces
For your convenience, flowers or centerpieces may be ordered through the dining services for an additional charge. You may also provide your own.

Please be prepared to give the following information when first making arrangements for your party:

  1. Name of Group
  2. Day and Date of Function
  3. Time
  4. Room Location
  5. Where you may be contacted/telephoned
  6. Type of Service
  7. Department and Account Number to be charged
  8. Approximate Number of Guests Expected

Guaranteed Pricing Schedule
This guide has been developed to give you an idea of menu costs to facilitate your budget planning. For all Muhlenberg College events the price is all-inclusive; no additional tax or tips are charged. All non-Muhlenberg College events will incur the 6% Pennsylvania Sales Tax. The food market is very volatile regarding price and supply. We reserve the right to alter prices to reflect current market conditions. We will develop an exact price for you once we have established the count, the time of service, special handling needs, special equipment orders, and other items you choose to personalize your affair.
