"Some of my finest college memories and deepest friendships have been forged in part by the presence of such a strong Hillel at Muhlenberg. Even from my college days of the late 1980s, Muhlenberg has been quite supportive of Jewish life. From what I know of today's Muhlenberg and its relation to Jewish life, its support probably has never been stronger. The students there gain a good sense of what it means to be Jewish on campus, in the community, and in the world."

"Somewhere between the people I met at Muhlenberg Hillel and the experiences
I had there my passion for Judaism grew like it never had before. I'll always
treasure those Shabbat dinners at the end of a long week, the Purim parties,
the guest speakers, and all of the opportunities to perform mitzvot in a welcoming
and open environment. It's also just the place to be -- whether to talk with
the (amazing) director, have something to eat, get some work done, or relax.
When I think back on Muhlenberg experience, I generally think of my Hillel
experience, which made those years all the more meaningful and memorable."

"I came to Muhlenberg from a home where Judaism was was a part of my daily life, through Jewish Day School and observance of holidays and traditions. My parents wanted me to go to a college with a large Jewish population, but I told them I wasn't going to college to hang out with Jews, I was going to get an education. I got to Muhlenberg and I realized just how important it was to me to have a Jewish community. I immediately became involved in Hillel and it became my home away from home. It was a place for me to get involved, meet other people, relax and grow. My involvement with Hillel and Patti has had a profound impact on who I am and what I do and want to do with my life. Hillel supported me throughout my college career and gave me opportunities to learn, teach, lead and grow. I have Hillel and Patti to thank for helping me through college, getting me to Israel (several times), and giving me the confidence to go after what I want. I am currently a childcare teacher at a family center run by the Jewish Council for Youth Services in Chicago. I love the fact that throughout my life, elementary and high schools, college and in the real world, I have had Judaism at the core. Now I give that opportunity to children."
