Pre-Orientation Programs

Class of 2017
Pre-Orientation 2013
Monday, August 19 - Thursday, August 22
Two program options are available for Pre-Orientation 2013: "Connect with Community" and "Treasures of the Lehigh Valley". These experiences offer an opportunity to get to know your new place of residence - Allentown, PA in the Lehigh Valley. You will also meet other Muhlenberg first-year students in a small group setting. Participants will become oriented to the city and region around them, meet new friends and contribute personal strengths in programs that are fun and educational.
Connect with Community is intended to do just what it says – connect students with communities around them! This Pre-Orientation experience is co-sponsored by the Office of Community Engagement and the Office of the Chaplain. Selected participants will engage with some of the Colleges not-for-profit community partners, enjoy local restaurants and explore local parks. Come and get to know your new city!
