Trexler Library 2008 YouTube Contest
Calling all Muhlenberg students!
As Trexler Library gets ready to celebrate its 20th Anniversary in our current location,
we want to see what you have to say about libraries.
Submit your funny, creative, dramatic, and/or inspiring video
having anything to do with libraries and/or information use and compete to win great prizes!
DEADLINE: Entries must be submitted by 4pm on October 17, 2008.
The Rules
Rule number one: Have fun making your video!
Then check the official rules and details. By uploading/submitting, you agree to all conditions and terms posted in the rules.
So what do I need to do?
Grab a camera (or other video recording device) and make your video!
Video cameras are available for checkout at the Circulation Desk (Level A of Trexler Library).
Edit your video with whatever software you have available. Use Windows MovieMaker software on computers in Trexler Library's Information Commons or use iMovie or Final Cut software on computers in Walson Hall.
What do I win?
Great prizes!
First place -- $125 cash
Second place -- $50 Best Buy gift certificate
Third place -- $25 Parma Pizza gift certificate
How do I win?
By making the best video! Entertain us!
Entries will be evaluated by a team of judges with respect to:
- creativity/originality
- entertainment value (humor, drama, etc.)
- integration of libraries, information use
Winning submissions will be shown at Trexler Library’s 20th Anniversary Celebration on October 24, 2008. Winners will be announced at the celebration and winners must present to receive prizes. (Finalists will be notified in advance of the celebration.)
