How do I locate scholarly books, chapters, and journal articles of literary criticism?

The MLA database is the premier index for literary criticism, including theatre criticism. Citations to scholarly books, chapters, dissertations, and peer-reviewed journal articles. Links to full text, the library catalog, and/or interlibrary loan.

Google Scholar (open access) (http://scholar.google.com)
A free index to books and articles that include a bibliography. Some are scholarly publications, but others are unpublished works and/or non-peer-reviewed. Use with caution.
