How do I locate websites with varying viewpoints on my topic--that are not news sites?

Google (http://www.google.com)
Non-selective. One of the largest web crawlers.

Intute (http://intute.ac.uk/)
A directory of reviewed websites. A summary of each website is given, helping to discern the perspective.

Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page)
Bibliography can be useful as a guide to varied websites on a topic.
