Like recycling, the College assumes that faculty and staff will want to maintain "fair use" provisions of Copyright law because it's the right thing to do. In addition, faculty members themselves are often the originators of copyrighted materials, and would not want their own intellectual property infringed upon. Reasonable diligence and consultation with library staff can help faculty not only remain legal, but give assurance that faculty members can model the right behavior for their students.
