Abram Samuels Sheet Music Collection
This marvelous collection, gifted to Muhlenberg College
in 1991, contains more than 31,000 items of American popular
music published between 1900-1965.
The collection is divided into two files. The
first, the Composer File, is arranged by composer
and then cross-indexed both alphabetically by song
title and numerically, according to when the
individual title was acquired. The second, the
Miscellaneous File, is also cross-indexed by both
title and number, and is composed of all sheet
music not classified by composer. The indexes
enable the user to ascertain quickly the location
of a particular title.

generated by these composers has been
collected. It is located in the Miscellaneous File,
and can be searched by title.
