2.6 COMPENSATORY TIME

Compensatory time refers to an exchange of time off in one work period for time worked in a different work period. The College does not authorize a compensatory time program. You should report all the hours you work immediately after each pay period so that you will be paid in the next payroll. Due to work requirements, your supervisor may approve a schedule that requires you to work a varying number of hours on different days of the week or month. Such variations of work schedule occurring within the same work period are not considered compensatory time. Any time worked outside your normal work schedule must be approved, in advance, by your supervisor.
