If you are buying a new computer, be certain to open and test it before bringing it to campus. Plug in all connections and power on the computer, making sure everything works correctly. If you have a printer, connect it according to the instructions and print a test page. Take the time to familiarize yourself with the computer. That's one less thing to worry about on move-in day and the first week of classes!
