Trexler Proffitt is a management and strategy professor with a strong interest in entrepreneurial thought and behavior. His interests center on corporate social responsibility, building stronger sustainable local economies, and social impact business models. He joined the faculty in 2012.
His teaching at Muhlenberg includes entrepreneurial studies and management. He has also taught a variety of other management and strategy courses including negotiation, corporate social responsibility, corporate scandals and accountability, and social entrepreneurship and innovation. He aspires to work closely with Muhlenberg students to help them explore responsible leadership and positive social impact.
He has taught at Kellogg School of Management and McCormick School of Engineering at Northwestern University, the University of California, and Franklin and Marshall College. As an occasional visiting instructor, he has taught courses for Copenhagen Business School, Lancaster Theological Seminary, and Notre Dame.
