Announcing the Twelfth Annual Lehigh Valley Ecology and Evolution Society (LVEES) Meeting

Sponsored by LVAIC (Lehigh Valley Association of Independent Colleges) and Muhlenberg College

9 a.m. – 6 p.m. (Dependent upon number of talks and posters)

General schedule: talks in the morning and early afternoon, poster session in the late afternoon, the keynote address will crown the day’s events.

Schedule/Program for LVEES 2015.  Please note that changes may occur.

Location: Muhlenberg College; 2400 Chew St; Allentown, PA 18104

  • Trumbower 130 for talks
  • NSB Foyer (New Science Building) for afternoon poster session

Undergraduates, graduates, post-docs and faculty are encouraged to present current research. Oral presentations (15 minutes: 12 minute presentation and 3 minutes for questions) and poster presentations (Our poster boards are 48” x 48” - Please do not exceed those dimensions)

Abstract Submission Deadline: Friday, March 27, 2015
Presenters need to register when they submit their abstracts
Registration deadline (for non-presenters): Friday, April 3, 2015

Registration Fee: $20 (includes morning snacks and lunch)

Prizes given for the best undergraduate and graduate student oral and poster presentations

Keynote Speaker will be Dr. James (Jim) Morin, Cornell University.  His talk will be titled “The magic of twilight on Caribbean reefs: Massive courtship light displays by diminutive ostracod crustaceans”
