GEMS is a science day camp for middle school girls entering 7-9 grades. The program is hosted by Muhlenberg College, located in Allentown, Pa. Women faculty from biology, biochemistry, chemistry, environmental science, mathematics, neuroscience and physics will lead daily scheduled science activities, with a lunch break between the two daily sessions.
Monday - Friday, July 11-15
9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Camp fees are $250 per student. Applications are now closed. Previous applicants will be contacted if a wait-list opportunity arises or if a second camp is scheduled.
Need-based scholarships for the 2016 program are available through the generosity of the Mathematical Association of America's Tensor Program, Indicon, Inc., the American Chemistry Society and Freysmiles Orthodontics.
