A native of Italy, Professor Zanchettin teaches Italian at Muhlenberg College. For many years he also taught French, Spanish and Latin both at the secondary level and at various colleges. During his teaching career, he spent a summer in Avignon with the Bryn Mawr graduate program; through a fellowship by the National Endowment for the Humanities he participated in a summer-long seminar at Duke University; twice he received the Juan Carlos II Fellowship at the Universidad Complutense in Madrid; and was awarded a second NEH fellowship at Columbia University for Renaissance studies. Professor Zanchettin is also active in translating.
