How much more work will be required of me if I join the Scholars Program?
Since Scholars Courses fulfill general academic requirements, Scholars Students are not required to take more courses than regular students. Scholars Courses are more demanding than regular courses in that they involve more sophisticated reading and writing. But because they are more demanding and because they involve close student/faculty interaction, they can also be more rewarding.

How does the Scholars program fit with my major?
Students in any major may participate in the Scholars Program. Majors at Muhlenberg are designed to take up only about a third of the students' course load, so taking Scholars Courses will not interfere with the completion of one's major requirements.

What must I do to remain a member in good standing of the Scholars Program?
Once a student has been admitted to the Scholars Program, there is no mininum grade point average he or she must maintain to take honors courses. To graduate as a Muhlenberg Scholar, however, a student must fulfill the graduation requirements.
