Student-Faculty Collaboration

In almost all of our activities, we find ways for motivated students to be involved. This kind of collaboration happens most frequently with respect to research. Specific faculty research interests vary widely (e.g., understanding trauma, risk perception, perceptions of ADHD and autism, music perception, diversity, mortality salience). See our faculty pages for more information about current research interests. On average, approximately 15-20 students per semester work directly with faculty on their research, and another 15-20 develop independent projects in collaboration with faculty. Additionally, between 3-10 students each year choose to participate in our Thesis Program to work even more independently, with faculty mentoring. Each year, one student is chosen as the recipient of the Rosenberg Research Award.
