Frequently Asked Questions
What should I wear?
All ballet classes require a black leotard and pink tights; this includes pointe class. All other classes require leotard (any color) with either black jazz pants or black shorts.
Are there any discounts available?
Families registering more than one child receive a 10% discount off the total registration fee (NOT including Performance Company fee).
Muhlenberg
College students receive 30% off total fees.
Faculty and staff receive 15% off total fees.
Only one of these discounts can be used per family, if applicable.
Can I drop in and take a class?
Yes! The drop-in rate is $18, payable at the door. This is a good option for trying out a class to see if it's the right class for you.
What is the MCDC Performance Company?
The Performance Company
is a two-hour class for MCDC students who are already registered for technique classes, and who are interested in learning more about the performance side of dance. The company is a full-year committment, and also includes outside classes and performances.
Company work includes warm-up, dance reportory and newly choreographed material, rehearsals and being a part of the more "grand scale" performance pieces in our shows. The class is for ages 10 and older with direcor approval.
Do I need to pay the $15 registration fee?
The fee only needs to be paid once a year, so if you pay in the fall you do not have to pay again in the spring. Each family needs to pay the registration fee just once per year.

ULS: Upper Level Dance Studio, Trexler Pavilion
LLS: Lower Level Dance Studio, Trexler Pavilion
CA 226: Studio 226, Baker Center for the Arts
Brown: Basement Dance Studio, Brown Hall (entrance off 26th Street)
What if the weather is bad?
Cancellations and delays will be posted on WFMZ. You can check TV, radio, or wfmz.com. We will also post updates on the front of this website.
