Notes From the Directors

|
Dear Friends,
Reserve your tickets now for our spring performance of Where the Wild Things Are. Performances are Friday, May 11, at 7 p.m. and Saturday, May 12, at 3 p.m. in Baker Theatre. Tickets for our performance are available by calling the box office at 484-664-3333. (Youth tickets are $5 and adult are $10)
Those students involved in the performance will need to attend dress rehearsals, Wednesday, May 9, and Thursday, May 10, from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. (More specific information was handed out in class for our Creative Movement students.) Also, MCDC provides the costumes for the performance, however we do ask for students to supply their own tights, leotards, and shoes. An informational sheet was handed out to students the last week of April giving you the specific items needed class by class.

Summer Youth and Adult Classes
|
|
As we prepare for summer break and family vacations, we'd like to remind you that MCDC offers summer classes to keep your growing technique fresh in your minds and bodies and allow your flexibility to continue improving. If you are unable to make all 6 weeks of classes, please consider dropping in! We offer a drop in rate per class if this works more readily in your schedule.

MCDC Performance Company

MCDC's Performance Company danced at Muhlenberg College for Allentown's 250th Birthday Bash. It was a great experience and wonderful performance by our dancers! Above is a picture of our dancers during the festivities!
The Performance Company will be performing at Mayfair, May 24 - 28. Details forthcoming.

Meet the MCDC Family
|
|
Jenny Tran, Student of the Month for May, is a 16-year-old student at William Allen High School, where she is a member of the Allen Dance Academy. Jenny has been dancing for two years, and her favorite styles are Modern and Jazz. Her hobbies include (in her own words): "eating, dancing, eating, playing sports for fun, eating, hanging out with friends, and ... oh yeah, eating."
