On the Mainstage

NEW VOICES 2014 Emerging Artists Festival

The New Visions Emerging Artists’ Festival is presented as part of the Mainstage Theatre & Dance season. The festival showcases the talents of senior directing students and features rarely produced, avant-garde works for theatre. It offers a rare opportunity for audiences to see the work of the next generation of up-and-coming theatre artists.

This year’s festival will feature the work of three promising student artists from the Class of 2014: a politically charged fable about truth and dissent by Tom Stoppard, a new and innovative one-man piece exploring revelation of self and others, as well as a full-length children’s show revealing the power of faith, courage, and love by Steven Dietz.
