Join us for an evening of one-act plays by some of our favorite young alumni. Liz Wasser and Adam Pinti have been making waves in the theatre scene; this fall, they return to campus as guest artists, to show us what they've been up to.

Diseases evolve. So does language. And history. In this history, the strains of HIV have mutated, an evolution so significant that scientists have collapsed the space between the antiquated terms HIV and AIDS into one umbrella acronym: the VOID (Viruses of Immune Deficiency). But a miraculous cure has been found. Enter Victor: the scientist and the test subject, the savior and the saved. You are cordially invited to the Gala for the Cure, honoring the scientist who made the discovery: the man who destroyed the VOID.

Fate, Fury & Musical Theatre: A Kind of Cabaret

In a panic, a young actress drives from her house in the suburbs of New York until she can't drive anymore. On the beach at the very tip of Long Island, the Three Fates of ancient mythology, androgynous and fabulous, wash onto the shore like Venus on the foam and lead the girl on a journey of self-discovery and showtunes. Also features Kennedy Kanagawa '08 and Michael Hull '10, as well as musical direction by Kristin Sgarro '10.
