nadell named player of the week;
tennis player wins “teitel”

Junior Chase Nadell (left) was named Centennial Conference special teams player of the week for the second time in his career.

Nadell consistently put the Muhlenberg in good field position in its 30-27 win at Johns Hopkins, returning five kickoffs for 165 yards. His 44-yard return to near midfield late in the third quarter set up the Mules’ final touchdown, and he followed that with a 46-yard runback to the Blue Jay 36.

Nadell also made six tackles, picked off a pass and forced a fumble on defense.

For the season, Nadell leads the CC with an average of 32.9 yards per kickoff return.

Men's Tennis
Freshman Jason Teitelbaum won the B4 singles title at the ITA Southeast Regional, hosted by Mary Washington. Teitelbaum won all four of his singles match, overcoming a 6-0 loss in the first set to defeat an opponent from Bridgewater in his second match. He wrapped up his run through the bracket by winning 6-3, 6-1 against a York player in the final.

Freshman Ben Berkowitz (right) advanced to the semifinals in the B5 singles draw, winning his first match 6-0, 6-0.
