Three seniors on the Muhlenberg men’s soccer team closed out their careers with All-Centennial Conference-worthy performances, according to the league coaches.

Cody Antonini and Kyle Plifka were named to the All-CC first team, while Danny Way earned honorable mention.

Antonini (above left) , the only unanimous selection to the All-CC team, garnered his fourth all-conference nod. He received honorable mention as a freshman before earning first-team recognition following his sophomore and junior seasons. Antonini is one of 16 players in league history (the third from Muhlenberg) to make the first team three times, and he is the first Mule to be named to the All-CC team four times.

Antonini leads the CC in goals (16) and points (34). Heading into the NCAA Tournament, he was 10th in Division III in goals per game. Antonini finished his career with 49 goals, good for fourth all-time at Muhlenberg and 10th in CC history.

Plifka (above center) was named to the first team for the second year in a row. He anchored a defense that gave up only 15 goals in 16 games, extending the Mules’ streak of allowing less than a goal per game to seven years.

A four-year starter at center back, Plifka served as a team captain twice. In the 69 games in which he played during his career, Muhlenberg allowed only 54 goals.

Way (above right) was selected to the All-CC squad for the third time in his career. The forward scored two goals in 2012, bringing his career total to 24.

Muhlenberg finished the year with a record of 11-5 for its 27th consecutive non-losing season.
