Women's Tennis Falls in Final Fall Match

Emily Szulman The Muhlenberg women’s tennis team lost at home to Moravian, 8-1, in the final match of its fall season.

The lone point for the Mules was an 8-2 win at No. 1 doubles by seniors Emily Szulman and Nina Sanders.

In singles play, Szulman, Sanders and freshman Jamie Rosenblum played close matches, with Szulman (right) going to a third set before losing in a tiebreaker, 11-9.

With the win, Moravian took a 2-1 lead in the Matte Award standings for the 2013-14 year. The next Matte contest is in men’s golf on Tuesday.
