Sierra Lenker Junior goalie Sierra Lenker of the Muhlenberg field hockey team was named defensive player of the week by the Centennial Conference.

Lenker recorded the first two shutouts of her career as the Mules blanked Bryn Mawr and Washington to move above .500 in the CC. She stopped seven shots in a 6-0 shutout of Bryn Mawr and five in a 4-0 defeat of Washington.

It was the first time since 2004 that Muhlenberg posted back-to-back shutouts in CC games.

For the season, Lenker ranks third in the CC in save percentage (.780) and fourth in goals-against average (1.80). Since allowing six goals against top-ranked Montclair State in the second game of the year, Lenker has given up only 10 goals in eight games with a save percentage of .818.
