Head Coach David Bracetty
David Bracetty was named head cross country coach at Muhlenberg College in August 2009.
He also is an assistant coach with the
Mule track and field teams, working with
the middle distance and distance
runners.
The Muhlenberg men's team qualified a runner for the NCAA Championships in each of Bracetty's first two seasons, and the women's team did in 2011. Both teams showed great improvement at the NCAA Mideast Regional from 2009 to 2010, with the men climbing from 15th to ninth and women moving up from 25th to 12th.
The women went on to place seventh at the regional meet in 2011 the best finish in program history.
Bracetty is a 2008 graduate of East Stroudsburg, where he ran track and field and was named a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Scholar-Athlete. He earned his Level One USATF Coaching Certification in 2008 and was an assistant cross country coach at William Allen High School that fall.
A district runner-up in the 800 meters while at William Allen, Bracetty is a freelance photographer for Runner's World, Running Times Magazine, TrackShark.com and Runnerspace.com. He has served as a public relations assistant at the Reebok Grand Prix, Millrose Games and Penn Relays.

Assistant Coach Kelly Curry Bracetty
Kelly Curry Bracetty is in her fourth year as an assistant coach with the Muhlenberg cross country team.
Bracetty ran cross country and track for East Stroudsburg University from 2000 to 2005. She earned all-region honors in cross country, set the school record in the 3,000 steeplechase and qualified twice for the Division II NCAA Championships in the steeplechase.
Bracetty is a four-time Boston Marathon qualifier and completed the Ironman Triathlon in Louisville, Ky., in 2011.
After earning her bachelor's degree in Spanish and health and physical education, from East Stroudsburg, Bracetty went on to earn a master's in online teaching and classroom technology from Wilkes University. A former cross country, basketball and track coach at Pocono Mountain West (Pa.) High School, she currently teaches health and fitness at Lehigh Career and Technical Institute.
